Hi, I’m Leo, a writer and illustrator based in Wales.
Before stories took over my life like the sparrows in my attic, I spent 10 years as an illustrator and animator, collaborating with studios and agencies on projects for brands including Red Bull, Disney Channel, BBC, Samsung, Rolex, and more.
I’ve worked in close collaboration with creative directors and producers to bring ideas to life across all kinds of weird and wonderful briefs. From illustration to animation, concert visuals, title sequences and even the occasional game show clue! 
These days, my focus is on crafting stories for young readers, with character, world-building, and humour at the heart of everything I do.
When I’m not writing or drawing, you’ll probably find me running away from the pastry aisle, playing piano like Keyboard Cat, or referencing obscure pop culture no one remembers from the mid-2000s.
Childhood nicknames include “Bog Boy” (earned while jumping into many a muddy marsh) and “The Kamikaze Skier” (I only had one speed, and no steering).
